No disaffection among troops over Chibok girls, says military

The Nigerian military has said there is no disaffection among its troops over the recent release of 21 schoolgirls abducted from Chibok town, Borno State, in April 2014.
Some media had reported that soldiers felt displeased that hardened terrorists responsible for thousands of deaths had been exchanged for a handful of girls, to score cheap political points.
A statement from the Director Defence Information, Brig.Gen. Rabe Abubakar, said there were no mixed feelings within the ranks of the military. He urged the public to regard the rumor as “baseless”.
