Doubts over Huth deal

Roberth Huth's switch to Middlesbrough is reportedly suffering problems that could scupper the agreed deal with Chelsea.

The German international has been at The Riverside for two days to undergo a medical before completing his transfer from The Blues.
However reports are now suggesting that the £5 million deal could be in jeopardy due to an unspecified problem.
Boro have not commented on the rumours, but if confirmed the news will be a huge blow to new boss Gareth Southgate as he attempts to stamp his own image on the squad he inherited from Steve McClaren.
Huth's presence in Germany's World Cup squad meant the transfer had to be delayed after the two clubs agreed a fee, and the towering stopper missed out on the third-place play-off game with Portugal due to an injury sustained in the warm-up.
The 21-year-old was looking to gain a regular Premiership place after warming the bench under Jose Mourinho, but now Southgate's first managerial signing looks to be hanging in the balance.
