Scuba Diving With Anaconda You Won’t Believe What Happens
Swiss adventurer and scuba diving enthusiast Franco Banfi swims with anaconda of 26 feet in Mato Grosso, Brazil, would you swim with this monster size snake?see more pictures after the cut...
Just below the glassy calm surface unknown to any innocent bystanders a 26 foot long anaconda is lurking coiled and prepared to strike at any moment.
All of these crazy images were photographed by either the what can only be described as either the bravest or most careless scuba diver who is a and herpetologist and enjoys following and studying snakes and reptiles in their natural habitat and is always accompanied by his camera to catch these incredible moments.
When visiting the wet lands wilderness in Matto Grosso, central Brazil, Franco went to an area called the Pantanal which translates into big swamp, a vast region that is bigger than the Everglades. This beautiful place is filled with some of the most exotic large animals such as Jaguars, Tapir, Caiman alligators and Capybara any of which can fall prey to such an enormous beast as this Anaconda who is at the top of the food chain and central and south America.
The huge size attained by these snakes makes it awkward for them to heave their bulk on land but once in the water they become quick stealthy predators who attack without warning from under the surface and then throw coils around their prey crushing them to death.
On this occasion Franco was successful with his photo shoot and came to no harm but it is certainly not something you should try yourself as anacondas are documented man killers once they reach this size.
